My weekend getaway at Colony Inn in Palmer, Alaska was a delightful blend of comfort and charm. Nestled in the heart of this unique town, the hotel boasts a rich historical ambiance, perfect for immersing oneself in American history. As a digital art enthusiast who appreciates aesthetically pleasing surroundings, I was captivated by the quaint room and overall cozy atmosphere. While exploring the area, my partner Emma and I indulged in the amenities provided, including cable TV, free Wi-Fi, and a mini refrigerator in our upper hall. One highlight of our trip was strolling through the park and exploring the town's offerings leisurely. From visiting the local museums to enjoying the amazing hiking trails along Lazy Mountain, Palmer truly has so much to offer for outdoor enthusiasts like us. In the evenings, we relaxed in the cozy great room with its inviting wing-back chairs and bay window, soaking in the serene ambiance. the peaceful nights and lovely walks around the property made our experience truly memorable. I would highly recommend this charming hotel to anyone looking for a unique blend of comfort, history, and outdoor adventures in the Last Frontier.
